Welcome to my BMW 530i (E34) maintenance pages. During the 23 months
I owned a 530 (June '98 to May '00) I documented common maintenance procedures
as they were completed. Both the owner's manual and the E34 service manual
from Bentley are essential references for the do-it-yourselfer.
Maintenance items are performed at either mileage or time intervals. Most
of the intervals below are from the warranty booklet but some are additional
or more frequent per my own opinion (*).
If you have not had your oil pump checked for loose screws, you should jump right on that one.
Turn off "Active Scripting" in your browser security settings
to stop those unacceptable pop-up windows.
If some images do not load, try refreshing the page. Fortune City have
made some changes that cause this problem.
